East Manc Badlands Tee

East Manc Badlands Tee

£25.00 — On sale

I really wanted to design a T-shirt that featured all the places of my life. I was born in Ashton, grew up in Audenshaw, went to secondary school in Droylsden, hung out as a teen in Gorton, Denton and Hyde, and have lived my adult years in Ardwick. I made my first album Nerve Up in a mill in Miles Platting, and have spent years playing music and wandering in this place. I feel East Manchester / Tameside is a bit overlooked and unloved. These are my humble Hinterlands, gleaming with occult memory and treasure. Long live the East Manc Badlands! - LoneLady xx

Note: this is a small bespoke enterprise created entirely by me, these are limited edition items, and there is no LoneLady Team fulfilling these orders, its just me! I am an Army of One.

Forming my own occult: the East Manc Territories, their leylines extending to Droylsden, Audenshaw, and Ashton, sites of my childhood and birth. Miles Platting: place of humble treasure and gleaming ruincolours, porous with industrial remnants and revenants; their transmissions still perceivable.
